I’ve always been drawn to decades long past. There’s something about looking at old photographs that feels like stepping into a scene from an iconic song, and that connection has always inspired me. One of my favorite artists is Etta James, and her song A Sunday Kind of Love has been with me for as long as I can remember.
To me, a Sunday kind of love is the kind that lingers beyond the busy moments. It is quiet, steady, and everlasting. It is the kind of love that feels at home in the simplest days, and it is the kind of love I hope to preserve through my work.
